Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Res. No. 450-18,
reports as follows:
Resolution No. 450-18, transmitted by Deputy Corporation Counsel Ronald Kim, via Comm. 657
unication 657 dated December 12, 2017, accepts the dedication of Roadway Lot G, identified as
Tax Map Key No. (3) 2-4-084:056 situated at Waiakea,District of South Hilo, Island and County of
Hawai`i, State of Hawai`i from Hilo Two, LLC, a Hawai`i Limited Liability Corporation.
Hilo Two,LLC, is desirous of dedicating the above roadway and all improvements thereon to the County
of Hawai`i for roadway purposes, and the roadway and improvements have been inspected and approved
by the Department of Public Works, and received dedication approval from the Department of Water
Supply,the Planning Department and the Department of Environmental Management.
Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawai`i County Charter provides that the Council may accept gifts,
including real estate or any interest in real estate, on behalf of the County of Hawai`i.
Robert Williams, a developer of Hilo Two, LLC was present in the Hilo Chambers. Council Member
Susan L.K. Lee Loy, supported the road dedication for this subdivision, which is in her district.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose and intent of
Resolution No. 450-18, and recommends its adoption.
