SUBJECT: A Bill for an Ordinance Amending Chapter 26, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983
(2016 Edition, As Amended), Relating to the Fire Board of Appeals.
Attached is a bill for an ordinance to amend chapter 26, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2016
Edition, as amended), by adding a new article 3, that would reestablish the fire board of appeals. I am
introducing this bill pursuant to the request of the Hawai`i Fire Department.
