Dear Chair Poindexter and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Tristie K. Licoan to the South Kohala Community
Development Plan (CDP) Action Committee.
Ms. Licoan has been employed as a culinary cook at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and
Resort for 15 years and is a business agent with the International Longshore
Warehouse Union. She received her Associates in Applied Science degree from Hawaii
Community College.
As a lifelong resident of Hawaii and participant in community activities, Ms. Licoan
seeks an opportunity to work on concerns of growth and resource sustainability within
the district. She lives in Kamuela. Ms. Licoan indicates that she is not a member of any
political party.
If confirmed, Mr. Licoan will serve a term to expire on January 31, 2020.
