It is my pleasure to nominate J William Sanborn to the South Kohala Community
Development Plan (CDP) Action Committee.
Since 2007, Mr. Sanborn has been Principal Broker at HomesGroup-Hawaii, a property
services business involved in affordable rentals and home care for part-time residences.
He has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Pacific Lutheran University.
Mr. Sanborn has extensively served the island community with current and past roles as
president of the Waimea Preservation Association and the Waimea Community
Association, director of the Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce, chair of the County
Salary Commission and member of the Rotary Club of North Hawaii.
Ms. Sanborn lives in Kamuela and has been a lifetime resident of Hawaii. He indicates
that he is not a member of any political party.
If confirmed, Mr. Sanborn will serve a term to expire on January 31, 2020.
