In the current fiscal year, $52,000 is <br /> appropriated for this grant account. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these <br /> additional funds into the SAFE Program grant account, and bringing the total grant appropriation <br /> to $101,745. <br /> The Police Department requests that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee and be placed <br /> on the January 24, 2018 Council agenda in order to expedite the receipt of these funds.
