EXPLANATION (Provide complete explanation):
The availability of the HOME Investment Partnerships Program(HOME) funds is a result of the cancellation of
the Hale Ulu Hoi I& II Apartments project, and the unused balance of funds for the Kumakua Self-Help Housing •
Increment 2B. Additional funding is needed for the Mohouli Heights Senior Neighborhood 2 to cover additional
construction costs.
The OHCD received approval from the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation figDC
