It is my pleasure to nominate Dawn Kiyoko Kainoa Raymond to the Liquor Commission.
Ms. Raymond is a special education teacher with the State of Hawaii Department of
Education at Waiakea High School. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Autism
Spectrum Disorders.
A member of several organizations related to the teaching profession, Ms. Raymond
currently serves as President of the Hawaii State Teachers Association, Hilo Chapter.
Ms. Raymond is a lifelong resident of Hawaii. She states that she is not a member of
any political party.
If confirmed, Ms. Raymond will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2022.
