RE: Proposed Amendment to Resolution 489-18, Relating to Tort Liability
Below please find a proposed amendment to Resolution No. 489-18, relating to tort liability.
The proposed amendment is shown below in Ramseyer format with respect to Resolution No.
489-18; material to be removed is bracketed and stricken through. Due to the limited scope of
the proposed amendment, a copy of the Resolution that will result if the amendment is adopted,
has been intentionally omitted.
The "Be It Finally Resolved"clause is amended to read as follows:
"BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this resolution
to the Honorable David Y. Ige, Governor, [the Honorable Shan S. Tsutsui, Lieutenant Governor],
the Honorable Ronald D. Kouchi, Hawai`i State Senate President, and Members of the Hawai`i
State Senate, the Honorable Scott K. Saiki, Hawai`i State House Speaker, and Members of the
Hawai`i State House of Representatives."
