Dear Council Members:
Please be clear that nuclear war is not "winnable." A nuclear attack is not something that people can seriously
be protected from. It is misleading for our government to posture that any civil defense system would give us
the ability to protect ourselves from in a real nuclear attack. This is to intentionally misinform and mislead the
public.
Please be clear about this issue so that the public is not misdirected! The only sane policy is to strive for peace
and disarmament.
