RE: AMENDMENT TO RESOLUTION NO. 488-18, DRAFT 2, A RESOLUTION
IN SUPPORT OF SENATE BILL NO. 3088 S.D. 1 EXTENDING THE PERIOD
WITHIN WHICH A COUNTY MAY ADOPT A SURCHARGE ON STATE
TAX UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS, FROM MARCH 31, 2018, TO
JUNE 30, 2018.
Attached please find Resolution No. 488-18, Draft 2. The Council amended Resolution 488-18,
with the contents of Communication 728.1, during its February 21, 2018, meeting.
The Council suspended its rule requiring the holdover of a substantively amended resolution and
adopted Resolution No. 488-18, as amended to Draft 2.
