Aloha Sir and Madam,
We humbly reach out to you today to respectfully request that you vote YES ON BILL No. 99 to name the
softball field in Honokaa the "Lala Epenesa Jr. Ballfield".
You may not personally know Lala, however you know him through his spirit on aloha that lives on long
after he has moved to his next life. His spirit lives on in so many that Lala touched through his selflessly
efforts to grow and share with our community.
Lala's work with our County included keeping this softball field clean and safe. For decades, Lala also
selflessly gave his time to coach many of our keiki on this very field. He played an important role in our
Honokaa community both inside and outside of work.
We can think of no better way to honor both Lala's contributions and our Honokaa softball field than to
name this field after Lala, a person that represents aloha, integrity,teamwork, leadership and love.
We are grateful for your consideration.
