-'M<�r of y� <br /> -•�J i= 7 <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII -•� �' /_*��- STATE OF HAWAII <br /> Il�TF <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 512 18 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO ASSIST THE POLICE DEPARTMENT WITH <br /> THE NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH PROGRAM IN KA`U. <br /> WHEREAS,the Police Department strives to protect life and property and to actively <br /> involve the community in crime prevention programs, such as Neighborhood Watch; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Neighborhood Watch program is a collaboration between police <br /> officers and community members dedicated to creating safer communities; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Police Department is requesting funds to purchase needed supplies, <br /> such as T-shirts, training materials, visor placards, and document binders for the Neighborhood <br /> Watch program in Ka`u; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to the Police Department <br /> for the Neighborhood Watch program in Ka`u. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $1,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $1,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.201.5213.02 Police Department $1,000 <br /> Ka`u Police - OCE <br /> 235 Misc.
