One of the hardest things in life is saying goodbye to a man with a great heart, has nothing but love
for everyone, and someone who puts judgment aside. A personality which is hard to find. Also a man
who is well respected, talented, and inspirational. Many great traits which only a few people knew
about. At Honoka'a Softball field, many stories and memories have been told about his great
coaching, parenting, and cooking. But most of all, his dedication and,inspiration. By renaming
Honoka'a Softball Field after Lala Epenesa Jr. teaches our present and future community, (meaning
coaches, parents, and players) about being inspired, inspiring others, and showing dedication. A
name you look up on the board and say, "I want to live up to that expectation. I wantto be like him. "
Something our present and future community needs and looks up to. So as you can tell, I vote hell
yes for Lala Epenesa!!
