SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT:
KAIMINANI DRIVE — 35 MPH SPEED LIMIT REVISION
We request the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1 (Speed Limits),
Section 24-257, Schedule 5 (35 mile per hour limit), paragraph (f) Kona be amended by
revising existing listing:
"Ka`iminani Drive, [. _ •- - -_ _ . . - -- from Ane Keohokalole Highway
to [Route} Highway 190".
We request the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1 (Speed Limits),
Section 24-257, Schedule 5 (35 mile per hour limit), paragraph (f) Kona be amended by
adding new listing and reordering as required:
"Kaiminani Drive, from Highway 19 to Lau`i Street."

Traffic Code Amendment— Kaiminani Drive 35 mph Speed Limits cont'd
The intent of these amendments is to update the speed limits along Kaiminani Drive to
better match the conditions of this road.
