;attlosq ' <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII -;� � �.* STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 531 18 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR EXPENSES RELATED TO THE CIVIL <br /> DEFENSE AGENCY'S PROJECT 360. <br /> WHEREAS,the Hawai`i County Civil Defense Agency develops and maintains <br /> community education and outreach programs to encourage and foster community resiliency <br /> through collaboration, engagement, empowerment, and the expansion of Citizen Corps <br /> programs; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Civil Defense Agency is partnering with the Citizens Corps and the <br /> Community Emergency Response Teams to coordinate and implement Project 360; and <br /> WHEREAS, Project 360 is designed to enhance community resiliency by focusing on <br /> four critical areas: <br /> • Increasing the number of communities on Hawai`i Island with a Community <br /> Emergency Plan, <br /> • Increasing the number of communities on Hawai`i Island with Community <br /> Emergency Response Teams CERT, <br /> • Increasing the number of households on Hawai`i Island that have an `Ohana <br /> Emergency Plan, and <br /> • Increasing Community-based Emergency Communications Capacity and <br /> Capability; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Civil Defense Agency is requesting funds for printing, outreach <br /> materials, surveys, and establishing an on-line informational site for Project 360; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to the Civil Defense <br /> Agency for expenses related to Project 360. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />
