Dear Council,
I am a resident of Hawaiian Paradise Park in the Puna District of Hawaii Island. This testimony is to support Bile
Number 112 which seeks to alleviate the presence of rooster farms. These so called farms are actually breeders and
raisers of cock -fighting roosters. They are chained to a -framed structures. Cock- fighting is illegal! We simply turn
our eyes away, afraid to confront the types of people who are breaking this law. These unsightly places are a
detriment to real estate prices. HPP is not comprised of farm lots, we live on one acre residential lots. We never
know who will move in next door and disrespect their neighbors, as well as the animals they chain up.
Please get rid of these illegal and inhuman rooster farms.
