I support this bill!
Calling yourself a "Farmer" does not exempt you from civil behavior. These "rooster
factories" are not a legitimate agricultural business any more than raising fighting dogs or
opium poppies is.
Labeling something cultural does not license immoral behavior: IE chicken fighting. If it did
bigamy, slavery, bear bating, bull fighting, dog fighting, child marriage, etc, etc would be
deemed acceptable.
Please pass this bill.
I will not come to testify in favor of this bill in person because I witnessed that the Rooster
people are quite willing to resort to violence toward others who don't agree with them. I do not
want to have my house or family targeted by people who are involved in criminal behavior,
directly or indirectly.
