Aloha,
Rooster farms are hurting the communities of Hawaii, and in addition to breeding roosters
they are breeding cruelty to animals. There is a good reason that this barbaric "sport" has been
outlawed in every state. Hawaii is behind the times in not supporting this legislation sooner.
As a realtor I have seen numerous properties that decreased in value significantly because they
were next door to a rooster farm. I have also seen properties that could not be sold because no
one wanted to buy next to a rooster farm. Buyers are often told that even though it is illegal
there really is nothing that can be done. This is shameful and makes everyone look bad.
