Aloha Council men and women.... I am supporting Bill 112. 1 like to tell you my rooster story. I have
moved to HPP about 20 years ago. Several years ago, one neighbor moved in with about 20 fighting
cocks. He said they are his father's who lives in hawaiian acres. My lot is only one acre. Can you imagine
that these birds cry screechingly, through as early as 3:30 till they are fed around 7? They would cry all
day whenever they want. I used to complain to him about their noise , first he was nice but he would soon
curse at me. It went on about 3 years with sleepless nights. It created animosity. Then I finally told him. I
'II have to take him to public negotiator. Soon he started to reduce number of birds. I think he has just
few which I can live with for now. They are nuisance, and devalue quality of life and property value along
the way.
I think HPP subdivision need to rethink and rezone from agriculture to just residential/commercial. It will
solve a lot of other problem. We deserve good road and good supply of county water. Utae Suzuki,
