Dear Council Members,
How in the world did we get to this point? People who buy property zoned AG do so because they can raise plants
and animals. If someone doesn't like being around animals, they should move to a different zone. Don't try to change
the rules after folks have invested time and money into their passion.
If the property is zoned AG, a person should expect crowing, clucking, mooing, neighing, baa-baaing (is this a
word?), oinking, gobbling, quacking, diesel motors running, chainsaws, those triangle shaped bells on the porch and
someone yelling "come and get it" once or twice a day. AG zoning does not mean peace and quiet. The number of
animals is based on the financial plans and ambitions of the owner, not the people who mistakenly moved into the
wrong neighborhood.
