No. 521-18 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 9:03 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 521-18, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution 521-18, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna S. Sako, via Communication No. 784 dated <br /> February 23, 2018, authorizes the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and of more than one fiscal <br /> year for a multi-year lease for five (5) digital multi-function copy machines for the Department of <br /> Environmental Management. <br /> This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a five-year lease agreement for five copiers at an <br /> approximate monthly cost of$300 each. Four copiers would replace units at various Solid Waste <br /> scalehouses and baseyards and one copier would be used at the Pu'uanahulu scalehouse. <br /> Council Member Eileen O'Hara asked Solid Waste Division Chief Gregory Goodale for a brief <br /> explanation of this resolution.
