SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT:
HUALALAI STREET– BUS STOP DELETION
We request the Hawai'i, County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 3 (Bus Stops and
Public Road Taxi Stands), Section 24-275, Schedule 23 (Bus stop locations), paragraph (c)
South Hilo be amended by repealing the following listing:

The intent of this amendment is to remove an existing bus stop that is no longer used
and replace it with parallel on-street parking stalls. It was confirmed by the requestor
that the subject bus stop is not an active bus stop for the County Mass Transit Agency
or used by the adjacent St. Joseph schools.
