Dear Chair Poindexter and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Kyle Keamo of Council District 2 to the Fire Commission.
Mr. Keamo is a teacher at Hilo High School, from which he is also an alumni. He
possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sports Sciences from
Brigham Young University- Hawaii.
A lifelong resident of Hawaii, Mr. Keamo has coached various youth sporting teams and
expresses an interest in giving back to the community.
Mr. Keamo indicates that he is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, he will
fill a vacant seat with a term that expires on December 31, 2021.
