Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 526-18, reports as follows:
Resolution 526-18, transmitted by Valerie T. Poindexter, Council Chairwoman, via Communication
No. 790 dated March 5, 2018, authorizes the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and more than one
fiscal year for a multi-year lease of real property(warehouse) for the Office of the County Clerk,
Elections Division.
This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a new five-year sublease agreement with Men's Shop,
Inc., to allow for the continued occupants of warehouse space located at 210 Maka`ala Street, Hilo, with
an approximate monthly cost of$1,630.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 526-18, and
recommends its adoption.
