Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation,to which was referred Bill No. 118,
reports as follows:

Bill No. 118, transmitted by Acting Public Works Director Allan Simeon, via Communication 791 dated
February 28, 2018, is an ordinance amending Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5 (parking), Section 24-279;
Schedule 27, Parking on pavement prohibited at all times, Paragraph (f)Kona, of the Hawai`i County Code
1983 (2016 Edition, as amended), by adding"Puuhalo Street, from a point thirty-five feet northwest of
Konalani Street to a point thirty-five feet southeast of Palihiolo Street,both sides."
There was no public testimony nor committee discussion of this ordinance.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose and intent of
Bill 118, and recommends its passage on first reading.
