Re: Operating Budget
A concurrent resolution is being placed on the Council's meeting agenda to transfer
$4,800 from the.Clerk-Council Services Contingency Relief account to the Highway
Fund. These funds will be used for the annual rental of a portable toilet.
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this
$4,800 to the Department of Public Works, Highway Division's Highway Maintenance
Admin OCE account within the Highway Fund.

A. REQUEST:
A Bill for an Ordinance to Amend Ordinance 17-39 for the Highway Fund as Follows:
020.3609.11 Transfer from General Fund: $4,800.00
020.301.5301.02.111 Highway Maintenance Admin OCE, Rental/Lease: $4,800.00
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Council Member Kanuha is transfering Clerk-Council Contingency Relief Funds to the Highway Fund in the
amount of$4,800, for the annual rental of a portable toilet. This service is required for improving the health
and safety of the community.
We are requesting these funds to be appropriated into the Highway Fund.
