Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 544-18, reports as follows:
Resolution 544-18, transmitted by Council Chair Valerie T. Poindexter, via Communication No. 817
dated March 19, 2018, authorizes the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and of more than one fiscal
year for a multi-year lease for a postage machine for the Office of the County Clerk, Elections Division.
This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a three-year lease agreement for a postage machine
with an approximate monthly cost of$35.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 544-18, and
recommends its adoption.
