Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 128, reports as follows:
Bill No. 128, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna S. Sako, via Communication No. 841 dated
March 21, 2018, amends Ordinance No. 17-39, as amended, the Operating Budget for the County of
Hawai`i for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2018.

This bill increases revenues in the Federal—2017 Block Grant account ($24,362); and
appropriates the same to the Administration, Planning & Fair Housing account for a total
appropriation of$2,524,362. These additional funds would be used by the Office of Housing
and Community Development's Community Development Block Grant program.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 128, and recommends
its passage on first reading.
