CALL TO The regular meeting of the Committee on Environmental Management was
ORDER: called to order at 1:12 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Kailua-Kona, by
Ms. Eileen O'Hara, Chair.

ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT COMMISSION CHAIR, REGARDING
THE COMMISSION'S POLICY PROPOSALS FOR WATER RESOURCE
MANAGEMENT

MS. EOFF: Thank you. I'm going to ask that we postpone this item until the next
Kona meeting on February 20, 2018.
Ms. Eoff moved to postpone Comm. 678 to
February 20, 2018. Seconded by Ms. Poindexter.
MS. EOFF: And the reason being I feel that it is an important topic and I don't
think any of us want to be rushed through the presentation or our questions and
we're about two hours behind, right now. So thank you for your understanding.

CHR. O'HARA: Alright. Mr. Kanuha.
MR. KANUHA: Yeah, I ditto what Ms. Eoff said, support the postponement
because this could be a lengthy conversation and I would really like to discuss it
a lot. So
CHR. O'HARA: Okay, sounds good. I think it is an important conversation
that we need to have here. Anybody else have any comments on this motion to
postpone? Seeing none. Could we please take a vote? All those in favor of
postponing, please say "aye."
The motion to postpone Comm. 678 to February 20, 2018,
was carried by the following voice vote:
Ayes: Committee Members Chung, David, Eoff,
Kanuha, Lee Loy, Poindexter, Richards,
Ruggles, and Chair O'Hara — 9.
Noes: None.
Absent: None.
Excused: None.

ADJOURN- There being no further business, at 1:16 p.m., Ms. Poindexter moved to
MENT: adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Ms. Lee Loy and carried by the following
voice vote:

Ruggles, and Chair O'Hara—9.
Noes: None.
