Proofed and verified names, addresses and district/ precincts for approximately 110,000 voters Conducting extensive and detailed testing of the new system Election Day Registration Creating procedures for Election Day registration - Recruit and train individuals for implementation at 41 polling places throughout Hawaii Island Goals Successfully conduct the 2018 Primary and General Election Provide voter education and voter registration presentations at all public high schools and Senior Centers in the County Research opening early voting sites at University of Hawai' i campuses in East and West Hawai' i Increase voter registration and voting turnout Key Spending Areas Postage -since the 2014 election, absentee mail voting has increased 10%, requiring additional postage for mailing and receiving ballots.
