J�tY OF,,,,,, <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII •_ �'' ' �•" STATE OF HAWAII <br /> +f�rFOF-----. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 596 18 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO REPAIR THE ROOF AND GUTTERS OF THE <br /> EAST HAWAII CULTURAL CENTER. <br /> WHEREAS, the East Hawai`i Cultural Center is a County facility located at 141 <br /> Kalakaua Street, that formerly served as the police station and judiciary building for Hilo; and <br /> WHEREAS,the building is maintained by the Department of Parks and Recreation and <br /> is used by the East Hawai`i Cultural Council to host art exhibits, workshops, and classes for the <br /> general public; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds to assist with <br /> the cost of repairing the leaking roof and gutters of the East Hawai`i Cultural Center; now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to the Department of <br /> Parks and Recreation to assist with the cost of repairing the leaking roof and gutters of the East <br /> Hawai`i Cultural Center building. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $2,500 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $2,500 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.500.5505.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $2,500 <br /> Parks Maint OCE <br /> 115 Misc.
