Dear Chairwoman Poindexter and Council Members: �.-.
It is my pleasure to nominate David De Luz, Jr. of Council District 3, to the Water Board.
Mr. De Luz, Jr. is employed by David S. De Luz, Sr. Enterprises and currently serves as
Vice-President of Big Island Toyota, one of its subsidiaries.
Mr. De Luz, Jr. is a graduate of St. Joseph High School and holds a degree in Business
Administration from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.
Mr. De Luz, Jr. was born and raised on the Big Island and generously volunteers his
time to numerous community organizations and causes including having just served on
the Fire Commission.
Mr. De Luz, Jr. states he is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, he will
serve a term ending December 31, 2022.
