This appropriation reflects <br /> funding allocations anticipated from the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations in the <br /> current fiscal year. The bill sets up the proper accounts to receive and expend the WIOA funds. <br /> The Office of Housing and:Community Development (OHCD) indicates that these funds will be <br /> utilized to provide funding for Sector Partnership Engagement to identify business's employment <br /> and training needs.:. <br /> The OHCD requests that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee and be placed on the <br /> May 9, 2018 Council Agenda in order to ensure that these funds are received during the current <br /> fiscal year.
