We would have to move from our home to a smaller one or condo without it. We are becoming pretty much single -issue voters on this issue and would certainly not vote for anyone who assisted in changing the current law to our detriment. We pay all our taxes on this money (GET, Transient, Income Tax) and see it as a vital way for Hawaiian government to make money as well. We would support a bill that collects the GET and TAT on our behalf from guests, but nothing more than that.
