Subject: Revised Bill 108/

Aloha,
My name is Karrie and I am a small business owner and contractor. My sole livelyhood depends on all my jobs that
are contracted to me through Hawaii Life Realty. I have as of today 5 people whom I employ locally. They, like
myself are dependant on the vacation rental business to support our families. We clean anywhere from 70- 90 rentals
per month which keeps us busy. Financially I bring in 5k -7k every two weeks. At least a quarter to a third of that
goes to my employees, half to my expenses to ruri my business, and a small portion to myself to live. This money
helps to pay bills like electric, rent, car payments, childcare, groceries, etc. This bill would devestate myself and my
employees who need the work to stay afloat in an over priced under paid economy that we live in. Any money made
from this business is spent right here in our state and community. Many families would be affected if this bill is
passed. Again, please reconsider and give us locals a chance to prosper from this business.
Best regards,
Karrie Costa 808-989-8635
