I'm in favor of regulating short term Vac rentals as I hope this may deter home owners from operating them. I live
in a 'single family' neighborhood in the Palisades and my block has about 60% short term vac rentals. These rentals
are both with or without home owners in residence. It appears that in either case there is insignificant county
regulation and oversight in play. Living in a'hotel zone' destroys the neighborhood ambience, increases traffic and
trash in the street and creates parking issues at times.
There is no benefit here for the residents not needing to run a business to help with their mortgage payments.
