I am very concerned about the damage bill 108 will produce if not significantly amended.
Here are a few of the problems with the BILL as it stands now.
The $500 flat yearly fee is too high. $200 or less is appropriate. Also there is -no clarification
on how this applies to VR owners who have more than one unit. Does everyone pay the same
regardless of the number of rental units?
There needs to be clarity regarding unconforming use permits. Whatever permits are used they
cannot be contingent upon neighbors giving permission for a homeowner to operate a VR just
like there is no requirements for neighbors to give permission for rooster farms or someone's
front yard being a JUNK yard or some other home business.
Permits must be easy to get.
