Home sharing is important to me

Dear members of the Committee on Planning,
I am a 20 year resident of East Hawaii. The hotel space here is insignificant in terms of visitor
demand. Our major industry is not being adequately served. Hotels close and reduce the
availability of rooms for our VERY important tourists. Vacation rentals have filled these needs
adequately and we should not pass any laws to prohibit these needed accommodations. Help to
promote tourism, not discourage it!
