Please consider including these in the bill:
• Require proof that TAT (Transient Accomodation Tax) is being paid, to offset impacts
of tourism
• Limit number of vacation rentals. Require new rentals to be a certain distance away
from existing rentals, or allow only so many per owner, or limit the number of permits.
• Allow County officials to check up on vacation rentals by checking Internet ads, or by
asking landlords if they have a unit available.
• Charge fees sufficient to fund enforcement.
• Require a new permit application if owners change.
• Prohibit "monster -houses".
