Dear members of the Committee on Planning,
Aloha County Council Committee on Planning,
I am in FULL support of Bill 108 as written. As a resident who has been negatively impacted
by short term renters in residential areas and on agricultural zoned land I am hopeful that your
actions will restore the peace and tranquility to our neighborhoods. Allowing short term
rentals in resort zones is appropriate and an accepted norm. To drive the issue of compliance
with local management and collection of fair GET and TAT is only fair to all and within the
provisions of HRS. Its unfortunate you must take this action caused by those who scoff at laws
and neighbors strictly for their personal gain.
