From Planning Commission Chairman Gary Mizuno dated
March 25, 1989, transmitting a bill to change the
district classification from Agricultural (A-la) to
Neighborhood Commercial (CN-10) at Holualoa lst,
North Kona. States the Commission recommended denial
of the rezoning application for reasons, as listed.
(Note: Bill 66 (Ord. 123 State Land Use Boundary
Amendment request) which was submitted together with
Bill 67, was adopted by the Council on 9/6/89; however,
Bill 67 was deferred at the PC meeting of 7/26/89,
pending adoption of the General Plan.)
Bill 67: Amends Section 25-87 (North Kona Zone Map) Article 3,
(Draft 2) Chapter 25 (Zoning Code) of the Hawaii County Code, by
changing the district classification from Agricultural
(A-la) to Neighborhood Commercial (CN-10) at

Comm. 1880: ADOPTION OF HAWAII WATER PLAN
From William W. Paty, Chairperson, State Commission on
Water Resource Management, dated August 1, 1990,
informing that the Hawaii County Water Use and
Development Plan (WUDP), established by
Ordinance 90-60, was adopted by the Commission on
June 27, 1990, subject to conditions, as listed.
Comm. 2481: From Council Chairman Russell S. Kokubun, dated
April 22, 1991, transmitting for review and
consideration a communication from Manabu Tagamori,
Deputy Director of the Department of Land and Natural
