Dear members of the Committee on Planning,
Aloha, have been renting through AIRBNB since 2011, with GE license, been paying all
taxes, being legal. Have great guest from all over the world. They have been quiet, clean and
excellent as we live in an older area with kids and pets. I have mo'opuna here so want to be
very careful with who stays with us. AIRBNB checks out every guest. AIRBNB is insured and
bonded. And all Neighbors all know and approve of our rental. We have never had any
problem.
I'm retired on a fixed income, had $80K damage from the 2007 Earthquake, so still in debt.
Need extra income and
AIRBNB has been perfect or I might lose my home.
Please do what you can to help local families like ours that are trying to make ends meet.
