The agreement would allow the State to enter onto County property to assume
maintenance of the statue, which is currently provided through community efforts.

Bill 140: AMENDS ORDINANCE NO. 17-39, AS AMENDED, THE OPERATING
BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING
JUNE 30, 2018
Increases revenues in the Commercial Driver’s License Program Income account
($3,000); and appropriates the same to the Commercial Driver’s License Program
Other Current Expenses account, for a total appropriation of $84,905. The funds would
be used by the Finance Department’s Vehicle Registration and Licensing Division for
travel costs to send a County Commercial Driver License instructor to Honolulu to
conduct skills training.

agenda item (communication, bill, resolution, or report number), and number of testifiers on the video
submittal. Each video submittal shall be limited to a single agenda item. Video submittals may
