These programs provide children with experiences in Hawaiian cultural practices of ancient Hawaiian wayfinding through STEM learning tools and techniques. Enclosed is a resolution to accept these funds. Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this.$7,600. The Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting that this resolution and bill be waived from Finance Committee and be placed on the May 21, 2018 Council agenda to expedite the receipt of these funds during the current fiscal year.
