Re: Operating Budget The County of Hawai`i has been awarded $9,392 from the Lili`uokalani Trust. These funds will be used to for the Intergenerational,projects and Kohala and Puna facilities to provide kupuna and youth with Hawaiian cultural activities; Enclosed is a resolution to accept these funds. Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget:by appropriating this $9,392. The Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting that this resolutionand,bill be waived from Finance Committee and be placed on the May 21, 2018 Council agenda to expedite the receipt of these funds during the current fiscal year. Pursuant to Section 2(g) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County of Hawai`i, this written request is submitted with my approval that the above-referenced matter be waived from the Committee on Finance to the full Council for immediate action.
