Re: Capital Budget cv The Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting to add an appropriation to Ordinance 18-40, the Capital Budget, for their Hilo Bayfront Trails project. The State of Hawai`i Department of Land and Natural Resources awarded the County of Hawai`i Department of Parks and Recreation $220,00.0.:to construct a paved multi-purpose pathway along Hilo Bayfront. Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance to add the project titled"Hilo Bayfront Trails Ph 2 - Fed" and to appropriate $220,000.to the Capital Budget for this.project. The Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting this bill to be waived from the Finance Committee and be placed on the May 21, 2018 Council agenda in order to establish thisaccount during the.current fiscal year.
