Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 602-18, reports as follows:
Resolution 602-18, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna S. Sako, via Communication
No. 909 dated April 20, 2018, authorizes the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the
University of Hawai`i.
This resolution extends an agreement that will expire on June 30, 2018, for an additional year to
continue the effort to develop an undergraduate educational program in energy science at
UH-Hilo.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution ion No. 602-18,
and recommends its adoption.
