Re: Paradise Pazk Neighborhood Watch
Dear Mr. Smith: _ .
r.
The Pazadise Park Community Neighborhood Watch is concerned that the
Community Policing Officers are unable to spend the time they should be in our
area. Our community has the highest crime rate in Puna. Our community watch is
' struggling to stay in existence and w~e are in desperate need of more support.
Without it ~~•e are doomed to failure.
The members of our community are very much concerned about the lack of
o>a tai money being spent by the County for our safety. We pay in and do not get
our fair share in return. The ratio of officers to population and crime rate seems
be a problem.
I believe that the few officers wrorking in Puna are excellent, and do the best
they can with the resources given, but that is not enough.
Your support and help in this matter would be greatly appreciated by the
community.
Sincerely,
LARRY PIItTLE, Co-0rdinator
