HI Ocean Safety program accounts. Additional funding is being provided by the State for the <br /> W. HI Ocean Safety program. The Hawai`i Fire Department requests that the appropriation for <br /> this program be increased by an additional $314,692, with $164,692 for S&W and $150,000 for <br /> equipment. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these <br /> additional funds into the Hawai`i Fire Department's W. HI Ocean Safety program accounts, <br /> bringing the total appropriation to $868,106. <br /> The Hawaii Fire Department is requesting that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee <br /> and be placed on the June 5, 2018 Council agenda and that the Council waive their five-day hold- <br /> for-reconsideration period in order to ensure this bill be processed during the current fiscal year.
