Additional funding is being provided by the State to <br /> fund the costs of salary increases. The Department of Finance Vehicle Registration& Licensing <br /> division requests that this appropriation be increased by an additional $15,563.90. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these <br /> additional funds into the Finance Department's Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Program OCE <br /> account bringing the total appropriation to $345,545.90. <br /> We are requesting that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee and be placed on the June <br /> 5, 2018 Council agenda and that the Council waive their five-day hold-for-reconsideration period <br /> in order to ensure this bill'be processed during the current fiscal year.
